Italy: Day 1

I love this. So, I won't have a lot of time for these posts, but I figure I should update everyone with some fun pictures of my adventures in Italy. I felt that the blog was a less intrusive way of letting people see what I'm doing other than shoving it in their face using Facebook.

Ok, this cute little cheese was given to me during my plane ride from JFK to Rome.

If you can't read it, it says:

CHEDDAR: Gourmet Cheddar Wedge.

Gourmet Cheddar????

What???

It was the best cheddar I've ever had though.

Well, my roommate Carson and I walk out of our apartment, and this is the first advertisement we see.

"Playa Nevada" - A new line of Fashion.

Oh dear.  I love Italians.

This pretty little area is called are the "Scale di Spagna" or the "Spanish Steps".

They are getting ready to celebrate the month of the Virgin Mary (May) and so it is covered in flowers.

Just some more pictures for you to drool and daydream over.

Guess what, I'm here.
Random Catholic shrine on a corner.

This guy is painting with concentrated juice.  I'm not kidding. The red is watermelon, the yellow is lemon.  For serious. I saw the boxes.

How sick is that?  I wish I was that original.

Oh, its tots just a random awesome obelisk/statues/fountains/churches in the middle of Rome. It's the Piazza del Popolo (the Square of the People) and it is pretty sick.  I'm going running there either tomorrow (if I'm totally not dead from jet lag) or Tuesday because there is a sweet park up the hill.

My apartment complexes.  The center of Rome is inbetween the complexes in the distance.  It's pretty sweet...

And I'm in Rome.

So, this is the TV they gave us. I figure my computer is larger anyways.

Those are cute beds.

We don't really fit...but we are tall and Italians...aren't.

Loving this.

Gotta go to dinner.

Love y'all!
